Anyone who knows me knows that I read a lot. I’ve always felt that the answer to a lot of life’s problems are hidden away in a book somewhere.
On that note, I’ve read nearly 50% more than my Goodreads challenge for the year already, and there’s still 2 months left.
So exclusively looking at books I’ve read this year, I’ve made a list of 10 books below that have challenged me mentally and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading. Feel free to read them if you haven’t!
In no particular order:
Native Son – Richard Wright
Beyond Good and Evil – Friedrich Nietzsche
Thus Spoke Zarathustra – Friedrich Nietzsche
The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists – Robert Tressell
Stoner – John Williams
The Wretched of the Earth – Frantz Fanon
There Was a Country – Chinua Achebe
Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus – Ludwig Wittgenstein
The Trial – Franz Kafka
